We have our own in-house claims teams, using third party adjusters and surveyors where required.

David Burns

Senior Underwriter, Marine Cargo

David has over 35 years of experience in the Marine Cargo arena, predominantly in London, with major insurers such as Cigna (now Ace) and Chubb. He also spent 11 years in Asia, based in Singapore, initially in a broking role but later returned to the underwriting side, finishing his time there at Axa Corporate Solutions. On his return to London, David worked at Swiss Re and then Barents Re, where he started the Marine Cargo book.
