Rokstone Agriculture Secures USD 20 Million Excess Livestock Facility with AXA XL

Finding the right home for larger and more complex livestock risks has become increasingly challenging. As operations continue to grow and livestock value increases, brokers need specialist underwriting partners with both the expertise and the capacity to respond.

Rokstone Agriculture is pleased to announce that we have secured a new USD 20 million excess livestock facility with AXA XL, significantly expanding our ability to support brokers with larger and more complex livestock placements.

The partnership provides capacity for both excess livestock coverage and a secondary option for primary livestock coverage on a non-admitted basis. Combined with Rokstone Agriculture’s existing USD 10 million primary perils facility, the agreement increases our total available livestock capacity to USD 30 million.

Greater Flexibility for Complex Livestock Risks

The additional facility enables Rokstone Agriculture to support a broader range of livestock risks, particularly larger exposures that extend beyond traditional primary risk tolerances.

Brokers now benefit from enhanced capacity through a specialized underwriting team dedicated to the agricultural sector, providing greater flexibility, stronger placement options, and a more comprehensive solution for clients navigating an increasingly diverse livestock market.

A Partnership Built on Specialist Expertise

Securing this facility reflects continued market confidence in Rokstone Agriculture’s underwriting approach.

Built around expertise, disciplined underwriting, and technology-enabled service, we have continued to grow by focusing on the needs of agricultural brokers and delivering solutions for risks that require technical understanding and responsive decision-making.

The partnership further strengthens our relationship with AXA XL, one of the world’s leading specialty insurers, reinforcing the strength of the platform supporting our livestock proposition.

Eric Conklin, CEO of Rokstone Agriculture, said, "We are delighted to have such committed capacity partners. The quality endorsement is a testament to the market's confidence in our expertise and support for the forward-thinking approach and innovative portfolio we bring to the world of livestock insurance."

Continuing to Invest in the Livestock Market

As agri-businesses continue to evolve, so too do the risks they face. Rokstone Agriculture remains committed to investing in the capacity, expertise, and technology needed to help brokers respond with conviction.

Eric continued, "This excess capacity is critical at a time of increased risk exposure for owned and non-owned livestock businesses, with clients looking for higher limits to meet the growing value for their stock."

With USD 30 million in total livestock capacity now available, our team is well-positioned to support a wider range of placements while maintaining the specialist underwriting approach synonymous with the Rokstone Agriculture name.
