Rokstone Appoints New Underwriter to Allied Health & Human Services Team

The team behind Rokstone's growing healthcare proposition is expanding, with the appointment of Jamie Millane within our Allied Health & Human Services division.

Jamie joins Rokstone with 15 years of insurance industry experience, including more than seven years specializing in US healthcare risks. His appointment further strengthens the underwriting expertise behind our growing healthcare proposition as the team continues to build a flexible, solutions-driven platform for wholesale brokers.

Having spent over a decade at Beazley, most recently as a US Healthcare Underwriter, Jamie brings extensive experience across specialized healthcare risks and a strong track record of combining underwriting discipline with data-driven decision-making and strong broker and carrier relationships. He also brings a valuable additional perspective to the team, having previously spent three years as a Data Analyst at QBE.

Specialist Expertise In Healthcare

Jamie joins Natalie Mauro, Head of Allied Health & Human Services, who was appointed to lead Rokstone’s healthcare division earlier in 2026.

Together, they have extensive experience across the US healthcare market, including deep Lloyd’s and London market knowledge. Both have spent their careers working with complex healthcare risks, with a particular expertise across US ancillary healthcare and human services.

The Allied Health & Human Services proposition focuses on the US mid-market, with the team offering flexible underwriting solutions across a broad range of allied health, social services, and outpatient exposures. Jamie will play a key role in developing this approach, supporting individualized risk selection, pricing, and portfolio management across the growing portfolio.

Specialist Underwriting, Supported by Data and Technology

Experience remains central to specialist underwriting. At Rokstone, it is supported by the technology and data needed to help underwriters make faster, more informed decisions. Jamie’s background in both healthcare underwriting and data analysis brings those two areas together particularly well.

Using Rokstone’s proprietary technology platform, ATOMX, he will help streamline underwriting workflows and support the efficient processing of specialized healthcare risks. This approach aims to blend underwriting discipline with the flexibility and responsiveness wholesale brokers need when placing increasingly complex healthcare risks.

Building a Go-To Market for Wholesale Brokers

Since launching Rokstone Healthcare and its first specialist proposition, Allied Health & Human Services, the focus has been on building a team with the technical knowledge and market experience to offer something truly unique.

We have experienced underwriters who understand the specific risks in healthcare. They are supported by technology that makes the underwriting process more efficient and allows us to be flexible with opportunities that may fall outside a standard market appetite.

Natalie Mauro, Head of Allied Health & Human Services at Rokstone, said: “There is a huge opportunity in the US healthcare market right now, and we are building a broad, flexible offering backed by real expertise in this space. We want to be a go-to market for wholesale brokers and make it easy to get deals done.”

By bringing together experienced underwriting talent, data-led insight and technology-enabled processes, Rokstone Healthcare is building the capability to deliver pragmatic, tailored solutions for wholesale brokers and their clients.
