Driving Growth in Reinsurance
Eddie Hughes brings nearly 20 years of industry experience to Rokstone as our new Head of Specialty Reinsurance.
Formerly a Marine and Energy Treaty Underwriter and then Head of Reinsurance at Antares, Eddie is known across the market for his technical insight and disciplined approach. At Rokstone, he will lead our growing Global Treaty insurance portfolio across Marine, Energy, Aviation and Space.
His appointment marks an important milestone in Rokstone’s strategic expansion into the Specialty Treaty reinsurance space, combining expertise with a bold, forward looking strategy.
Strengthening Capacity
We are also pleased to welcome Rob Winsley into the newly created role of Capacity Manager and Broker Relationship Director.
Rob joins from Howden, where he built his reputation for cultivating strategic partnerships and managing large Lloyd’s and London Market portfolios.
At Rokstone, Rob will lead distribution across all lines of business, enhance broker relationships and support the development of multi-year capacity arrangements. His appointment reflects our ongoing focus on delivering market-leading service and building sustainable capacity partnerships worldwide.

With more than three decades of cross-class experience, Nicola Chapman has been appointed Global Head of Claims.
Since entering the industry in the mid-1990s, Nicola has held senior positions across the market in both placing and claims, bringing a unique 360-degree perspective to her role.
At Rokstone, Nicola will lead a globally integrated claims function, focused on communication, innovation and operational excellence. Her leadership reinforces our commitment to efficient, transparent, and client focused claims handling - a vital part of our underwriting proposition as we scale globally.
