Investing in Our Next Chapter with Leadership Changes and New Talent at iFarm UK & iSure UK

Following another successful year for iFarm and iSure UK, we are pleased to strengthen our specialist agricultural underwriting business and SME underwriting operations in a series of leadership changes and new underwriting appointments to support our next phase of growth.

The changes include internal promotions for Lee Ellis and Shane Mustill, as well as the arrival of two experienced agricultural underwriters for iFarm UK.

Together, the appointments reinforce our long-term commitment to agricultural insurance while ensuring brokers continue to benefit from the specialist expertise, responsive service and digital innovation that have become synonymous with the iFarm proposition.

Investing in Leadership

After successfully leading iFarm UK and iSure UK since 2022, Lee Ellis has been promoted to the Digital Prioritisation and Change Lead at Rokstone. In his new role, Lee will oversee digital prioritisation across Rokstone’s specialist underwriting portfolios, while continuing to work closely with the iFarm and iSure teams as the business develops its next-generation internal underwriting platform.

His appointment reflects Rokstone’s continued investment in technology, data and operational excellence, helping specialist underwriting teams work more efficiently while delivering an even better experience for brokers.

Taking over responsibility for the day-to-day leadership of iFarm and iSure UK is Shane Mustill, who has been promoted to Managing Director, iFarm and iSure UK.

Moving from his Head of Distribution role, Shane has played an important role in strengthening broker relationships and driving growth across both brands in recent years. With more than 14 years of specialist agricultural underwriting and broker development experience, he will now lead the continued expansion of the businesses while maintaining the specialist, broker-first approach that has fuelled iFarm’s success.

Adding More Specialist Expertise

Alongside the leadership changes, iFarm has welcomed two new underwriters to the business. Adam McWilliams joins from NFU Mutual, where he spent the past three years as a Commercial Package Underwriter, bringing valuable experience across commercial and agricultural risks.

He is joined by Gurjot Bagri, who brings four years of underwriting experience gained with leading insurers, including Markel and AXA.

Both appointments further strengthen iFarm’s technical underwriting capability as the business continues to respond to growing demand from agricultural brokers across the UK.

Built for the Future

We continue to invest in our award-winning Quote and Bind platform, enhanced data analytics and increasingly sophisticated pricing capabilities, giving brokers faster access to competitive, accurately priced agricultural insurance solutions.

Commenting on the changes, Shane said, “Lee has played a significant role in iFarm and iSure’s success over the past four years, expanding our product offering, strengthening our broker relationships and driving improvements in service and operational efficiency.”

Shane continued, “We are adding experienced underwriting talent, promoting from within and continuing to invest in the technology and data capabilities that support better underwriting decisions.”

With strengthened leadership, additional underwriting expertise and continued investment in technology, the business is well-positioned for its next stage of growth while remaining focused on helping brokers place agricultural risks through specialist expertise, responsive underwriting and market-leading digital capability.
