Rokstone: Havana Nights - Altitude 2024

On Wednesday 3 July 2024, our much anticipated annual event, Altitude, took place at The Standard Hotel in London.
The creative concept for Altitude 2024 was a Cuban style, South American themed extravaganza. The event featured bright colours, vibrant cocktails and lots of photo ops against Rokstone branded Cuban backdrops.
The Venue
Stretching over the 11th floor of the five star hotel, the night began on The Rooftop of The Standard Hotel where the London skyline provided the perfect backdrop for bubbles on tap and those all important cocktails, before later moving to Decimo, a sophisticated restaurant within the hotel.
Located on the 10th floor, Decimo sees Michelin-starred chef Peter Sanchez-Iglesias merge the Spanish cuisine of his family with his love for Mexico. With its floor to ceiling windows, Decimo offered similarly dramatic views and the perfect setting for an evening filled with vibrant festivities.
The venue’s unique positioning and exquisite culinary offerings, including gambas rojas, mangalitsa pork and innovative mezcal cocktails provided an ambience brimming with flavour and excitement.
A Fiesta of Fun
The entertainment lineup was a true highlight of the evening, showcasing a diverse selection of performances that kept the energy high throughout the night. A Cuban Quartet kicked things off on the rooftop with an acoustic set, before Cuban samba street dancers and drummers brought the energy of Havana to our north London venue.
Rokstone’s very own James Potter and Ian Anson took to the stage too - not to samba, but to thank everyone for attending, praising the hard work the Rokstone team has done over the past 12 months. It was a proud moment as they reflected on recent successes enabling Rokstone to host a party of such magnitude.
DJ Tony Perry kept the music flowing throughout the night, with appearances by a Mariachi Band, CASA Party Band and The Beatbox Collective. Marvin Humes delivered a 90 minute spectacular DJ set that had everyone on their feet and DJ Luck and MC Neat rounded off the night with an unforgettable finale.
Rave Reviews
Feedback from attendees has been overwhelmingly positive. Guests praised the innovative theme, the spectacular venue and the outstanding level of entertainment.
The goal was to make Altitude 2024 bigger and better than ever before and by all accounts, we delivered an extraordinary night. Thank you to everyone who attended and helped to make this event such a success. Watch (or relive) the best bits below!
